Freshly fermented Pakaweli cane wine. At roughly 11% abv, this was still slightly sweet, aromatic and delicious. With a vibrant pink color it reminded me of POG and the incredible part was it smelled like fresh guava juice. The color will not survive the distillation process, but the hope is that some of the wonderful aromatics and bright tropical flavors will. I’d be happy if they just bottled this stuff up, it was that good!
