For the cider lovers out there you’ll soon have another option to select from. Starting this week Ace Ciders will be available in Hawaii. Ace has been making craft ciders in Sonoma County alongside some of the nations best wineries and breweries for over 15 years.

Ace Apple, Berry, Dry Joker and Pumpkin will be available and we can expect to see various seasonals including a new pineapple cider in the future. All of the ciders are gluten free.

Ciders have been growing in popularity in the US over the past 2 years due to their light and refreshing qualities. Quality craft ciders are made with the best apples and have similar traits to a refreshing sparkling wine.

As with beer, there are small craft cider makers and large industrial producers. Quality varies greatly between the two and it’s worth seeking out a great small batch producer.

UPDATE: Ace Cider has actually been in limited distribution in Hawaii for the past year. They recently partnered with a new distributor and we can expect greater availability.
