Wednesday, April 10th – House of Brews – Beer 101, Part 1. Each week a different theme and EIGHT different beers to be tasted. Andy Baker, Hawaii’s own encyclopedia of all things beer, is on hand to explain and enlighten. Tasting includes Chef Valentini’s pizza. Majority of tastings run $25 per person.

Our next beer tasting with Grant Curlow uses the contemporary image of Kanaloa as the God of Death, and we will try to pour five very special dark beers, they may be dark in spirit, dark in color or dark in name…we still don’t know, time will tell.

8. The Wine Stop

This Saturday, April 6th from 1-5pm we will be celebrating the 80th anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition at The Wine Stop. We will be tasting people on pre-prohibition recipe beer, cocktails, & wine. We will also be serving pupu served during the repeal era. Prizes will be given for prohibition era costumes.
