Tiny Bubbles: Hawaii Beer Reads for 5/15/13

Beer Tax Map

Beer news from around the web that you need to read.

The Motley Fool – Hawaii has the fifth highest excise tax per gallon on beer sales in the nation.  With one of the highest annual per-person consumption rates of beer, that adds up to a lot of revenue for the state. http://bit.ly/10H5pK3

Honolulu Magazine – Aloha Beer Company has a new food vendor.  Firehouse Food Truck is filling the void from the closure of Sam Choy’s.  http://bit.ly/10QdLE8

Two Beer Queers – Bully and Russel are back and this time reviewing Ballast Point Indra Kunindra Export Stout.  http://bit.ly/10rjOxa

SNB Brewing – Absolutely nothing to do with Hawaii, but a great feature on one of my favorite breweries, Firestone Walker.  Get a inside look at their new Barrelworks facility in Buellton.  This should be on everyone’s must visit list. http://bit.ly/YX09qw
