Laird Butler of Merchant du Vin and Beer Specialist, Bill Carl of Southern Wine and Spirits will be presenting a beer tasting featuring a various specialty import beers from Merchant du Vin paired with small taster plates. Your $30 ticket will include the following seven beers; Pinkus Organic Ur-Pils, Du Bocq Blanche de Namur, Ayinger Celebrator Doppelbock, Traquair Jacobite Ale, Orval Trappist Ale, Sam Smith’s Organic Chocolate Stout and Lindemans Framboise Lambic. Wednesday, August 21 – House of Brews. Each week a different theme and EIGHT different beers to be tasted. Andy Baker, Hawaii’s own encyclopedia of all things beer, is on hand to explain and enlighten. Tasting includes Chef Valentini’s pizza. Majority of tastings run $25 per person.
