Pacific Business News – Kona Brewing Company announced brand new packaging and bottles.  The new bottles now feature a map of the Hawaiian Islands and the company’s slogan “Liquid Aloha.”  The new labels are die cut to make the graphics pop more. http://bit.ly/113Sgvy

Beer Pulse – In more AB InBev packaging news, Budweiser cans are getting a new fancy makeover.  Special bowtie cans are expected to roll out soon that mirror Budweiser’s iconic bowtie logo.  Don’t ask me what this has to do with the beer in the can and why they’d spend millions of dollars in R&D to develop these cans.  http://bit.ly/ZAxyRD

Hawaii Business – KISS rocker, Gene Simmons, plans to open another outpost of his El Segundo based restaurant Rock & Brews.  The rock and roll and craft beer focused restaurant chain is slated to open later this year in Paia.  http://bit.ly/YX0CIk
