Craft Shack – I recently stumbled across this site and was overjoyed when I saw they shipped to Hawaii! There are a lot of online beer stores popping up, but most won’t ship to Hawaii. Well, I joyfully loaded my shopping cart up with goodies from AleSmith, Allagash and Firestone only to be slapped in the face at check out with a we can’t ship to Hawaii notice. Their shipping terms say they ship to Hawaii, so maybe someone else can figure out how to get stuff here. http://bit.ly/1211myw
Boston Globe – Seeing that Las Vegas is a travel destination of choice for a lot of Hawaii residents I thought this was a pretty relevant article. Casinos are adding more craft beer to their menus. Mandalay Bay now includes Lagunitas IPA as a free drink option for gamblers. If I gambled, I think I’d find a seat at Mandalay for sure. http://b.globe.com/1211WfF
Shanken News Daily – Craft beer now represents 30% of Costco’s beer sales. I know on the mainland you can regularly find brands like Stone, Dupont and others stocked at Costco. http://bit.ly/195GqZw
Beer In Hawaii 
I was suspicious of Craft Shack’s inclusion of Hawai’i in their coverage area. Sure enough when I attempted an order I, like you, got the “Sorry” reply. I sent a query asking for clarification of the contradiction between proclamation and practice. No response was received. And, in addition to Green Flash expanding their distribution, note also New Belgium adding British Columbia . . . not Hawai’i.

I had the same issue with craft shack, pretty lame. I have a feeling they are going to be answering a lot of questions tomorrow regarding shipping to Hawaii.
