Events: Wednesday, February 5th – House of Brews Groundhog Day. Each week a different theme and EIGHT different beers to be tasted. Andy Baker, Hawaii’s own encyclopedia of all things beer, is on hand to explain and enlighten. Tasting includes Chef Valentini’s pizza. Majority of tastings run $25 per person.

10. Brasserie Du Vin
Event:

Brasserie Du Vin is pleased and honored to announce a very special guest at its next Brewer’s Table. Jack Joyce one of the founders of the iconic and successful Rogue Ales (Newport, Oregon) and frequent Hawaii visitor will dine with guests, sharing tales and knowledge about craft beer making.

Here’s what’s on the menu for this limited-seating event:

Social Beer: Chatoe Rogue Single Malt Ale

1st Course: Beef Tartar. Seasoned finely diced beef tenderloin, capers, parsley,
Shallots, and roasted garlic-Dijon emulsion, paired with Rogue Beard Beer

2nd Course: Oysters Rockefeller. Baked Pacific Oysters, Kahuku corn, a touch of smoked bacon, and saffron hollandaise, paired with Chatoe Rogue Dirtoir Black Lager

3rd Course: Beef Osso Buco. Braised beef cheeks, fingerling potatoes, baby carrots, and zucchini, paired with Rogue Santa’s Private Reserve

Dessert: Kona Coffee Cheesecake. With a macadamia nut crust, paired with Rogue Double Chocolate Stout
