Due to the incredible demand for tickets over the past couple of years the Kona Brewers Festival has added a second session for 2016. The past couple of years tickets to the festival sold out in a matter of hours, leaving a lot of people out in the cold. The 2016 Kona Brewers Festival will take place on Saturday, March 12, 2016 and include a lunch session (11:00am to 2:00pm) and a dinner session (4:00pm to 7:00pm), essentially doubling the amount of tickets available. Each session is 3 hours in length, plenty of time to enjoy a bunch of great beers, food and live entertainment.

Tickets will again only be available for advanced purchase. That means they WON’T be selling them at the door and judging by last years demand, I think both sessions will sell out. Tickets go on sale on January 30th, at 11am PST at both Kona Brewing Pubs (Kona and Hawaii Kai) and online at www.KonaBrewersFestival.com ($5 fee). Tickets are $70 and include a commemorative event mug, seven four-ounce brew tasting coupons, unlimited samplings of gourmet cuisine and an afternoon of entertainment.

Seems like they have decreased the amount of tasting tickets from 10 to 7 this year. Breweries and beer line up has not been announced and I’ll post as soon as it is made available.
